"The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and a great place for conversation over good food. The food was generally good, and the wine selection was good. I can't say I was super impressed with my food. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare, and it was indeed medium rare inside, but you would not have guessed that from the outside. It had a diamond pattern from the grill branded into the hide of what should have been a delicate piece of meat. So it was presented with a tough very over cooked exterior with deep black scorch marks burned into a diamond pattern from the grill. It looked dry and over cooked. When it arrived I asked the server if this was medium rare and she assured me it was. I cut it open and saw a clearly medium rare interior and given the response of the server, who did not check back with me, I kept it instead of sending it back. However, when I order a steak like that I do not expect a charred over cooked exterior, regardless of how perfect the interior is. The diamond grill scoring is qute, I get that, but it doesn't justify doing this to an otherwise choice cut of steak. Everyone else enjoyed their food and drink, and other than a strange version of medium rare, it was generally a good experience. I would go again, but I would not order the filet mignon again without first confirming that one I received last time was not the norme."

"Saw online and try it. Kellner was friendly and knew his products. Alcohol drinks I tried need more push, but it tastes good. Small burning on medium steak, but it was delicate and tasty. Rib was tender and sauce is right. Dessert was huge and good to share. I will come back"

"Overall the experience we had staying here was very positive. The staff we very helpful, particularly reception. The room we stayed in was very nice and clean and large. The location of the inn was very good and central to amenities in town. Nice that it was away from the main road. We didn't eat at the on-site restaurant but the menu looked nice. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. Thank you to all the staff who made the stay very memorable."

"Took my deer there to get processed and they tried to charge me more then what they said then the owner would not call me back on the problem only take one time to rip some off to lose there business I used them about 5 times but after that I will never shop or take my deer there"

"We were headed to Paso Robles Mid-State Fair to see John Fogerty 7/29. We were looking for a great place to eat. We checked out the town and saw Pappy McGregors and it looked lively and they had some open tables inside and out. I called to see if we needed reservations. Nope, come on over and in 2 minutes we had a table. We also made it in time for happy hour, and we ordered Pretzel Fondue. It was amazing! We ordered fish tacos, a pappy burger and they were amazing , the service was fast, friendly. Ice cold beers to top it off, clean, fresh and a lively-upbeat eatery. We will be back!! The concert was Fantastic!"
