"Stopped here for an ice cream on a very hot day during a walking tour around the old town. Fantastic range of flavours. Good value. Very tasty. A lovely shady area provided with seating across from Le Glacier."

"The lady who served us our simple ice creams has understood nothing about customer support or even courtesy at any level. We were three customers; one of us, the one who randomly treated the other two with an ice, was a... German spokesman and the other two of us were fluent in French, but since we were not the ones with the seller, we took a step back and saw in horror the patronage as they spoke to the paying customer. He wanted to buy two vanilla and 1 pistachio ice cream. She immediately started in a demand for what language he wanted to speak, French or English, not listening or understanding at all what he demanded, although it was quite clear what he demanded (in every language! . Then she demanded that he demanded one at a time (which he had done when she seemed confused. All this with a staring, smiling face. She, possibly insured, continued custom as the tourist season starts, could not have less about what we thought of her aggressive and protective attitude and smile, unfriendly counting. She made it quite clear that she was not able to speak French fluently (although the ice business must be dependent on tourists, many of whom are non-fluent French speakers). She just wanted our money. Will not recommend this place and we will not go back. There are many other places that sell ice in Perigueux, so if you don't want what we feel was a racist attack, probably best to avoid this place."

"The composition of the menu was very good, the four different types of wine appropriate to the different courses. All ingredients were cooked to the point and fresh. The service was very attentive and friendly. Of course, you pay in the castle the show and the ambiance. But nevertheless a very nice evening with i.a. a lobster ravioli, a dove and a chocolate mousse at the end. Très savoureux!"

"We had only an hour to eat, the location is great and food was tasty : french fries and their sauce are excellent! The cafe gourmand was a great selection as well, service was good too so will be back!!!"

"Ai sushi is a family run japonais restraunt in bergerac led by a young couple directly behind the post office on the main road, it is ideal as it parking right next to it. now the dame speaks only french, but. it is trying, but the menu is simple, they can choose for the set menus that range from up to the massive impressive sushi boot at I think it was euro, or they can choose the individual pay from the menu, i.e. if they like Californian makis or additional tuna pieces. good drinks menu also and they have some nikko whiskey and saki to try them too. I don't like this restorative in the top row, but the family that own it was beautiful and sweet and made us feel very welcome I got a fork instead of chipsticks as lol!"

"Only had a short time to eat and this place was nearby on the main Road running through the village From the outside it did not look too inviting , but had to eat something Inside was much better although , very French and old fashioned But the food was great , so much on the plate I could not eat it all , two of us ate enough ,and with coffe's it came to € 26 If passing I would go again , one section of the restaurant was full"
