"So I rather like 'Mexican ' 'Tex mex ' and similar foods so was glad to have the chance to try this place out and overall wasn 't disappointed. If you can get over the slightly dubious name and the even more dubious names of some of the dishes quite why anyone would want to use drug dealers and gang names etc to sell food is beyond me the food is great. I 've been in the various restaurants that have been on this site so knew what to expect when I came in as far as the layout went. The long room makes for an odd atmosphere but equally it does give you lots of privacy. Service from the staff was excellent, friendly on the phone when we booked and all the way through the meal we were well looked after. Food itself was really nice, plenty of vegetarian options which suited me and my meat eating chums were also very well catered for. Nice mix of fairly standard tex mex dishes and some different ones. The coriander rice was amazing. Portions are fairly large and we were stuffed after a starter and main. Biggest criticism was the drinks menu. If you wanted beer that wasn 't lager then it was Newcastle Brown or Guinness, felt as if we had gone back 20 years in time. With so many breweries doing decent bottled ales there is no excuse for a restaurant not to have the choice. The did however offer bottles of Vinho Verde which I rarely see in Plymouth so we ordered a bottle, but they didn 't actually have any which was a shame and again no excuse. All in all we are looking forward to a return visit especially if they can sort the drinks menu out."

"Cocktails were nice. vegan nachos as starter was nice. coconut brulé was lush! not too sweet. but jackfruit curry and vegan burrito dish was beautiful, but they say the rice was reheated that just made the meh"
