"The restaurant we were heading to was closed but had read about this one so decided to try it so glad we did and we got the last table it was so busy. Quite typical Portuguese food but so tasty. Homemade chips, homemade dessert, delicious all the way. Waiter was flat out but we had a few laughs with him and he recommended a great wine (not expensive actually nothing was expensive) All in all a great experience and would definitely go again"

"This restaurant was recommended to us by the staff at our hotel in Sines so we decided to give it a try and were glad we did. We ordered salad as a starter and a rice dish with crab which was delicious (the salad was the usual Portuguese tomato, lettuce and onion). The rice is very different from Spanish paella dishes because it has much more liquid. We found one ordered for two would have served for three because it was huge. We ate water melon for dessert, which was fresh. I wouldn't say its a cheap restaurant but the prices were not excessive. The staff were not over friendly but serious and efficient."

"I stopped into Pérola do Porto Covo for a late dinner. The service was excellent. The wait staff did everything to make my dining experience enjoyable. From discussing the menu to doing a little extra. The food was great, I had a local fish dish that was very tasty. It appeared to be made by some old ladies in the back (that's how you know it's good!). Seems like a very family friendly, and friendly in general, establishment!"
