"Four of us visited Quarteira for 12 days and ate multiple times at Pizza Cafe. I had the seafood pizza which was to die for! My husband had stuffed squid which was delicious as well as the sardines. Our friends had other seafood and pizzas plus shrimp dishes. The food was so wonderful and the atmosphere and attention to detail from Paulo & Sonia was amazing! It was as if they had invited you to their home for a meal. Would go back again and again. Thank you for such a lovely experience!"

"This was a terrible place to eat. I went there with my family and the place was deserted during lunchtime, which was already a bad sign but we went in nonetheless. This was a really bad idea. The waitress was extremely rude and responded back...in a way that we considered leaving after we complained mildly about the quality of the bread. I had one of the worst ameijoas a bulhao pato that I have ever tried in Portugal. The squid was also tiny and mostly under-cooked, with a salad that was basically old lettuce, half a tomato and tiny two strips of onion. Other dishes were either overcooked or under-cooked. The appearance of the dishes was poor and the taste dismal. The waitresses, the cooks and apparently the owner spent the time arguing and shouting at one another about the service or something related to the food. Considering the awful quality of the food this is not surprising, but at the same time created a really uncomfortable environment. The probably best thing about the restaurant was that it was relatively clean. The food was also overpriced, and the fish was as fresh as I am the president of Zambia. The following day two adults were feeling some sort of stomachache and my daughter had diarrhea. Really, really terrible. Avoid at all costs."
