"We had a great prime rib dinner at the Fireside! Called to make a reservation and we were told they were full but would put us on the list if someone cancelled. They called back a few hours later after a reservation opened up, and got us in! The food was great, and you get all of the sides with your prime rib (rolls, salad, soup, potato, and a mini muffin)! More than worth the cost of the meal. Beautiful view of the lake as well."

"I'm a pasty snob like most pasty lovers. I enjoyed many in Cornwall England, the home of the Pasty. We make them home and visit pasty parties, I like a good curry pasty and I like a traditional with New Mexico green chili. We made a trip to Northern Wisconsin and discovered this jewel. Sweet little shop and a beautiful lady who works there. We could smell them as soon as we opened our car doors. To our horror we discovered that they did not sell them ready to eat. You make them and freeze them, you take them home and cook them in your oven. We bought six, 1 Mais, 1 Traditional, 1 Ruben, 1 Bacon Cheeseburger and 1 Southwest, 1 Greek! (Wow!) The Ruben bleeded my mind, seemed to be a sacrileg, and that could taste it if better. Long story, every pasty I ate the best pasty I've ever eaten! We cut them at the table and split them. Better than in Cornwall and better than at home. Large crust, quality ingredients, minced meat, delicate vegetables... Soooo good! We ate until we hurt and do not regret it. I don't know who Joe is, but good job girl! Rheinlander is almost 2 hours away, but I see that I make the trip too happy!"

"Good place to eat with fast service and good food. the cocktails and appetizers were very good. our dinners ranged from fish, pasta, burger and salates and everything was good. my only warning is that the servings were generous, so are not carried away to order extras, unless they want to take a box home. we recommend this restaurant."
