"11 descended on The Falstaff without booking and ordered lunch. With lots of choices ranging from liver, bacon, mash, bangers and mash, chilli jackets etc everyone was very pleased with their food. Mine was the tuna and sweet corn salad which is always nicely laid out. Service is always good at The Falstaff, just a little slow this time because there were so many of us."

"This was our first trip to Rochester, we were singing at the cathedral and were given time off for lunch. Walking down the High St we found The Eagle Tavern and what a treat it was: proper locals' pub with great staff, excellent beer and really good food cooked from locally sourced ingredients by a chef who takes great pride in his work, especially the Yorkshire puddings. Both our Sunday roasts were huge and of good quality, especially for the price! Special thanks to the bar staff who ran after me with my phone as we walked back up the road and the chef who came out in person to have a chat. Also had a great natter to some of the locals. It's a great pub you've got their Folk! See you next time we're iver!"

"I stopped going to pubs year ago. I was tired of the noise, binge culture, uncomfortable atmosphere. The Flippin Frog however is something completely different! This stunning micro pub offers a safe and delightful haven for anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious meal or a local brew in a wonderful atmosphere. Locals smile at you, the owners talk to you, stunning musicians will dazzle you and on a Sunday the whole place sings along! "Met friends for drinks. Great warm and welcoming atmosphere. Duke box had a good selection of music. Landlord very engaging. Only down side, not knowing the area parking was a bit of an issue. Had to park on road not ideal. Definitely worth a visit."
