"My new little brunch spot! We visited MC for Father's Day yesterday, and the whole family loved it! I live in Frederick, so I'm glad this place was worth the drive. The restaurant feels cozy and not cramped. We had reservations and were seated within a few minutes of our arrival. The food was really good. The Belgian waffle shrimp omelette were my favorite items. I had a yummy coffee with Rum Chata and a peach bellini. The bellini was even better than the coffee. The service was excellent, prices are decent, and the atmosphere was nice. They even have outdoor seating if that's your preference. I'll definitely come back soon for more waffles! "First in the spirit of full transparency, I'll note that my wife has Polish-American ancestry and that has played a big role in our lives in a very positive way. We love the culture and the food, among many other things. When Kielbasa Factory opened on busy Rockville Pike some years ago, we felt like it was a Godsend because there's nothing like it around even in this very diverse area of Montgomery County, Maryland and Washington more broadly. What you'll find here is a wonderful selection of all things Polish ranging from, as the name implies, smoked meats, refrigerated products like Pierogi, baked goods, beer and wine. They will also make some meals to order but you'll want to take those to-go because there's not really a good option to eat it in the store or the sidewalk outside. The staff is attentive and highly professional. I'll say also that you will get the hard sell on some things. For example, if you buy a pound of one kind of sausage, they'll suggest you buy another, etc. That's just good salesmanship and probably something that helps keep them afloat. If you are interested in finding authentic food food from Poland, or just want to have a bit of a non-U.S.-type adventure, this is highly recommended. For parking, drive to the lot in the back of the store where you can avoid walking up steps."
