"After having stayed several times at the Beatus Hotel in Merligen, I wanted to go to the Ermitage for a Day Spa. I really appreciated Barbara's welcome at the Wellness center and at the reception but especially the massage provided by Alexandra who was able to relieve my persistent pain. "From the outside (and inside) this place looks like one of the typical Swiss "Beizen" that normally is good for drinks and heavy simple food. Don't get fooled by the looks, these guys serve one of the most serious steaks this side of the Atlantik. It has the size of a brick, comes on a hot stone with a bit of vegetable and some sauces. The beef is very! good. The owner told us they are selling 4000kg of this a year - For a reason...P.S. the price is a surprice.Better make a reservation."

"Nice place to stop for a lunch ! The menu give a wide range of choice. We were maybe unlucky but the personnel was not very friendly. When you park the car down at the skilift you get a ticket which give you a credit for a hot drink up in the mountain. Don't forget the ticket (you wont't get the drink but that is everywhere), here they did not want to give the credit because we did'nt tell them about the credit before ordering....! Now you know !"
