"My daughter was turning 18 in October and is away at college in Arizona. I wanted to do something extra special for her birthday since I wasn’t going to be able to be there with her to celebrate this year. I had seen Knee-Deep Denim on social media and fell in love with their iconic pink couch! I reached out to the retailer through social media to see if they could do something special for my daughter‘s 18th birthday? Maybe I could put some money on account for her, and her friends could take a photo on the pink couch? The owner RaeAnn personally helped me to make a wonderful birthday surprise for my daughter!!! She and her staff went above and beyond to make my daughter and her friends feel like VIPs and like they were on an exclusive shopping trip! It was the best! Then she also followed up with pictures of my daughter and her friends, and featured them on KDD’s social media so that I could see and share in the moment!!! You do not get this kind of service from a big box retailer! You only get this level of service from small businesses, where people like RaeAnn run their business with love and care. At any given day this level of service and kindness would’ve been extremely appreciated and extra special. However in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic, with all the restrictions complicating every plan I tried to make, this level of service and care that RaeAnn and her staff provided is beyond measure!!!!"

"Pixy Cakes was an alternative cake vendor provided by the wedding venue we choose. The original cake vendor was terrible so we were grateful to have another option! I will start by saying I was a very picky bride when I came to cake because I LOVE sweets. Towards the end of the planning process I called Tina to change the design probably 3 times. I think this led to some confusion as the end product was pretty, but not quite what we ordered. As far as design. I wanted a navy blue cake, but the cake was more of a periwinkle blue. The pin cushion look and other design though was what I was hoping for! As far as taste, we had ordered two types of cake (almond cake with frangelico filling and pink champagne cake with strawberry filling). The cake was delivered with the correct fillings, but the actual cake were both almond cake. They were both still super delicious though so no complaints on taste! Overall, I'd recommend pixy cakes but would advise minimal changes once you complete your cake tasting to decrease confusion."
