"This was my first time here. I arrived soon after opening time. The place was clean and tidy. The waitress was nice and the service right in time. I ordered three different dishes (one hand-made roll, one sushi roll and a chicken katsu don) and I'm really satisfied of all of them. The sushi was really good and all the ingredients well balanced. The fried chicken in the katsu don was simply perfect. just the carry sauce was a little bit too sweet, but the overall of the dish is extremely positive. The portions are generous and for just 26 pound I ate a lot. For sure i will come back again"

"Back when Edo operated out of Candlebar in Leeds they crafted amazing quality sushi, presented beautifully and served in a classy environment. It was up there with the finest sushi I’ve tried around the world and we would visit every couple of weeks such was the quality. Now they’re located in Komune Sheffield which is a cross between the Arndale food court and a multi-storey car park. Where before there was a broad vegetarian selection, now there are few choices; food used to beautifully served with fresh ginger, wasabi, soy teriyaki on sushi plates. Now it arrives like something from a travel lodge breakfast and you have to revisit the outlet for chopsticks, soy in a sachet etc. The food isn’t terrible but it’s now no better than any other fast food sushi outlet."
