"We stayed in the family and single rooms. Comfortable and clean. Full English breakfast with vegetarian option was very nice and filling! Staff very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back."

"Eat was nice, well cooked, and I guess I said what they were not on stock before ordering, but when my partner ordered a meal with meat dripping gravy and came with chicken engraving we had to request the right engraving as per menu. they have changed it for us, but this is the only reason I have not given 5 stars."

"Food and drinks were lovely, but the service was a major let down. No one was at front of house when we arrived and had to find someone to let them know we were waiting. Staff forget to provide cutlery for different dishes, rarely checked on us and avoided eye contact a lot. Very little communication and we went at 3PM so not a busy time and we stayed till 7PM."

"Lovely building, food was just about warm when it eventually arrived , very slow at receiving all courses ordered , unfortunately not as good as previous visits and quite pricey for dishes on offer ! Also some items ordered where out of stock ! On a plus , pleasant waiting staff . Can't recommend a dish as was not up to scratch ."

"Shrewsbury. The town that pretty much sleeps on a Sunday and Monday apparently. Well, that was our experience walking around the town. However, it led us to the Three Fishes. When we entered it was nearly empty, save for a couple of regulars having an argument. Not the best start. But after that quietened down, and more people came in straight afterwards, it turned into what it should be. A nice little pub, with good staff and a good atmosphere. We had a couple of drinks but as it was closed for the rest of our stay we couldn't go back, although we would have."

"Decor a little tired especially the bathroom. Few staff but doing their best, service however consequently slow. Bar had NO straight gin, only flavoured . Second night no gin again and they ran out of the beer my husband wanted. Also told no cocktails as they didn't have the ingredients to make them!"
