"This is a great shopping experience..this place is open to 10pm everyday.. except Sunday's.. where it's 9pm..A terrific range of essential shop's services.. Grocery, Drugstore, Paper shop, Sushi, Chinese grocery most important....Ice cream shop, a barber Shop..$10 for me.. pensioners..$15.. normal..A great pub that serves huge lunch dinner meals..$15 average.. most important..I live just across the road from it.."

"Firstly, this is not a restaurant for vegetarians, or even those who don 't eat much red meat: the menu has only 2 non beef options: cheese salad, and trout (both excellent). Even the chips are cooked in duck fat. There are also limited options with regards...to vegetables or accompaniments chips and a small green salad come with everything. However, if you 're looking for unpretentious country cooking with good quality, fresh ingrédients, this does what it says on the tin. The philosophy is that all the ingrédients are sourced locally, so that the chef can tel you exactly where each came from. Even the beef cattle are pastured in local mountains, where the restaurant organises guided tours with a grill afterwards. We sat on the terrace, which on a Sunday was actually in the market! Ambience was very relaxed, and the service was friendly and excellent; the owner himself came over to wish us bon app . The price was very reasonable, and we particularly liked the two tier children 's/ados ' menu. For once, our 13 yr old had a good sized meal without having to pay full adult price. We also appreciated that even the children 's meals had the same quality of ingrédients as the adults ' version, and came not with Coke but a special diabolovache a very tasty cordial with lemonade. This modern take on what the Pyrenées has done so well traditionally is exactly what is needed in this region. I hope other establishments take note."

"I have tried 3 different subs, all have been: very mediocre and nothing special extremely overpriced Subway is way cheaper, and actually offers salads. Here you have 3 choices of salad. So minimal. I foresee this entire Australian expansion going completely bankrupt within a year. It's a shame because I wanted this place to succeed."

"I 'll start with a confession: I didn 't have any chicken but ordered a mid morning snack of chips instead. I was the only customer there at the time, but the welcome I received was genuine and friendly. The location opposite the Ashmore Plaza shopping complex...and just down from the Currumburra roundabout is perfect for those heading toward Southport. There aren 't all that many parking places (I counted eight) although the overflow might go across the driveway which it shares with Pizza Hut (and vice versa). I thought that $3.50 for a regular (i.e. small) box of chips was on the high side, but the chips themselves were delicious and piping hot. There are many tables inside and the faux timber floor was spotless. The chicken menus also looked pretty good, covering a great number of variations and combinations, and reasonably priced with family combo specials prominently advertised."
