"We come here almost every week to eat as we love the food. But when we went to get take away the server at the counter refused to give us a take away container which has never happened to us before with the other server that we normally see. My son had his own separate wings that weren’t eaten as he wasn’t feeling hungry. The lady was very frustrated with us asking for a container and wanted to make sure she packed our food instead of us doing it. she chucked out the small piece of rice and chips my son had on his plate along with a small piece of chicken just to make sure we only took my sons wings home which was the Chinese burbon. My husband got all you can eat wings and I got the 16 pieces with rice and chips on the sides I shared my chips and rice with my son. I had one piece left but she refused for us to take that one piece left over I’m assuming because she thought it was from my husbands meal. If the chefs weren’t such nice people I would have told my husband to ask for more wings and leave it there to go to waste. But we left. Every time I see that lady she is just negative and not a pleasant person to be around. I’m not sure if it’s a racial profile issue because I am Polynesian but it was very unnecessary and unfortunate. I will be coming back but I will also confront this if it happens again. I am giving 1 star because of the server."

"If you love the homely welcome of a local crew, this pub is for you. Food is great, including the classics. The beers on tap, great selection. Wine, also great this is what I prefer. You may even get the pleasure of winning a meat tray or two. Great vibes, good times...."

"This is a must to stop while you are in the Gold Coast. Excellent food and serving. Very accommodating and made sure we had the best time. Belinda the manager was amazing and very nice to us while we were here. 10/10 would recommend"

"A group of eight of us arrived for dinner and the food was great, simple pub food. all the meals arrived in a timely manner. the drink were cold and great place for dinner after being at the Gold Coast 600. only 2 stops on the tram from the hotel where we were staying. jump back on the tram 2 stops and back to the hotel"

"This is the first time I have been here in about 3 years, no real reason I’ve never come back, probably lock downs, probably habit changes over COVID, just never occurred when at harbour town, just normally go in get what I need and go home. I also rarely go out of my way for a review except if you are horribly bad or exceptionally good. It this case they exceeded my benchmark for exceptional, took my 4 year old for a single daddy daughter date, and everything and everyone was just so lovely, nothing was too much hassle, all of little requests (that comes with 4 year olds) were done with a no problem, straight away and a massive smile. And the welcoming smile we both got from Nikita when welcomed first she kept on her face the entire time. It’s odd and rare to just walk into a place where every single person just looked like they loved their job. And their vibe…well…it’s infectious and we’ll carry the joy that had with us the entire day. Definitely our go to now everytime we’re at harbour town."

"Wait staff are always friendly and attentive. Food is just perfectly cooked and wait times are quite short considering how busy they always are.Manager always has time to stop and say hello even when busy. Prices are reasonable, especially tue-Thu when the tapas is on special. Well worth the visit."

"This place was fun! Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. Succulent chicken and probably the best seasoning iv ever had on the chips. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Music was super funky and upbeat. Great décor, very clean."

"We had lovely service by all staff we dealt with, however the head waiter was absolutely fantastic. A couple of our meals came out and we’re not what we had ordered a discrepancy between what was on menu on the app and what the restaurant had) We were offered to exchange meals for something else or a couple of wines and a dessert, which we opted for. All the food we had was delicious and I would highly recommend ????"
