"Visited twice during a trip to St Andrews in search of affordable vegetarian food, really great service both times it was pretty quiet the first time (around 7pm and the two of us got to watch our pizzas get baked in the open plan kitchen out back. The second night we were a party of 40 but they still served us relatively quickly and kept track of all our (complicated! orders. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious, a little dry with the breadcrumbs but overall good, and the pasta dishes were enormous with just the right amount of spice. A great selection of food at student affordable prices, a little fancier than some other Italian restaurants but well worth it!"

"Pleasantly surprised by this place. Pizza was close enough to Neapolitan style, and the crust wasn't too burnt, which is good. Ingredients clearly fresh. Locally made buffalo mozzarella not nearly as juicy as in Italy, but tasty enough. Service very good, and prices quite reasonable."

"Was aware of the distinctly average reviews, but gave this place a chance. Wish I hadn't. For a restaurant attached to or associated with a five star hotel the food was average. The management at the Hotel needs to pay more attention, because there are better Italian restaurants in the majority of Scottish towns than this one."
