"All great except it was a 70th birthday and nothing was done. Was asked if it was a special occasion when we booked with opentable and again when we were seated. Why ask if you do not intend to do anything? Our server was great...we only downgraded the service rating because of the above."

"I had been sent off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there, the hostess didn't confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 difference in price. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which it came out like that), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"It was extremely quiet for a Saturday evening. We noticed that other restaurants around were a lot busier and wondered why that was. Bolete is more pricey and fine cuisine, which means smaller portion of more refine foods. Staff was very friendly and the music was New York lounge style. The art was from a local artist and complemented the venue. Overall, a very nice dinner!"

"Bistro Mirepoix was excellent! I went to try their pork belly benedict and it was amazing! The prices are fair and the menu is unique. Definitely a must-visit brunch spot! I will be back to try the lobster benedict!"

"This place has the best middle eastern food in all of Niagara, totally impressed. Clean, fair prices, and the quality of food is top-notch. I wish the owner much success so that the restaurant is around for a long time! After 5 or 6 years in business, this place is still rocking with generous portions and probably the best tasting meats and sauces. The vegetables and ingredients are always fresh and now that I have introduced a handful of friends and family here, they are all regulars now. You will not be disappointed."
