"Always loved coming to this pub, used to be some happy staff in this place they were all misrable,Went for my sons birthday and the service was a disgrace, waited for our drinks to be brought to the table, Our desserts came out...without them clearing up our plates from dinner, wont be going back"

"A little bit rowdy but food was excellent My fish and chips with mushy peas were spot on loads of real chips too . Wife had parmo with chips and salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back there in the near future."

"Those in our party who had the parmo said it was fab. Unfortunately the rest of the meals weren't so good. Beef baguettes that were very dry, even with lots of gravy. And Sunday lunches with some odd flavours (not sure if it was the stuffing). Service was excellent, there seemed to be a lot of staff on duty. Acoustics could do with some work; it was very noisy."

"Lovely old pub. The food and drink was as normal wetherspoon standard. Cheap and cheerful. Always worth a visit. Beers great prices and plenty of choice of drinks and food."

"Amazing breakfast. Everything cooker fresh and was delicious. The poached eggs were the best I have had compliments to Stuart in the kitchen for them. Staff are always so friendly and attentive."

"Went there about 3pm. Had burger and sweet potato chips. The latter was delicious and crispy. But we had to wait some time before we were served. ...even though it was half empty at that time. Hence 3 stars. Good views and clean place though."

"My local pub. Operated by weatherspoon chain. Been frequenting it for last 21 years. Absolutely spot on. Specially in winter, the seat by fireplace (table 50) is perfect. Very friendly staff. Disabled friendly and atmosphere is lively. Opens early and has good breakfast options. Coffee is amazing, its brewed by Lavaza machines, my personal favourite. Absolutely marvelous setting inside, and outside. A jewel on the historic Norton High Street. Lots and lots of character. Highly recommended."
