"Anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. It was beautiful. I took a star off for ambience as it was a touch on the old fashioned traditional dining for me, ie a bit quiet and formal. But really high class in terms of venue, food and service. Prices are fully in line or even a shade over London which I felt was a little much but not enough to spoil the evening."

"We popped in for lunch after visiting Stow, the pub/restaurant is an airy well illuminated place while keeping the cost charm of a 16th century Village Inn. The menu is well thought out with plenty of variance, all clearly marked for allergens and there’s an excellent choice of craft ales. The Inn is spotlessly clean throughout, the polished silverware which makes a nice change from other places which tend to have watermarks from dishwashers, it’s the attention to detail that makes The Horse Groom stand out for quality and an attention to detail. There’s plenty of room between tables too so there’s no fighting for elbow room. The loos are very clean and presentable and accessible rather than having to wade through diners to find them. There’s also a small shop area selling local produce which is a nice touch. It’s dog friendly for those pooch lovers and a large car park to the rear makes parking easy. All in, this was one of our best dining experiences in a long time."

"We enjoyed our lunch here very much. the personal was very friendly, conversation-friendly and accommodating. there were several vegan options, and many variety for my omnivore family members as well. I had the Quinoa bowl that was beautiful. the pizzas were made by a Sicilian, and my man really liked him. I was tried to taste her vegan burger because they were made from all the means of life, vs. the highly processed meat analogue, but the quinoa bowls sound healthier and I enjoyed it. we also really liked the atmosphere here; very pleasant!"

"We stayed in SotW for a friends wedding locally. It appeared everyone had come upto the Cotswolds for wedding that weekends at the White Hart was our 5th attempt at finding a spot for dinner turns out 5th time lucky it was! We had lovely service throughout dinner, fantastic food in a really lovely dining room. Would strongly recommend, nice selection of drinks and main meals, could well be a lovely spot for dinner for two or small groups as well visiting the area."
