"Best sushi I’ve had in years. Excellent freshness, quality, service, each nigiri was perfectly sized, not too much rice. Jay (the owner) is the chef and he is skilled in his craft and cares about making high-quality sushi for his guests. He’s ruined every other sushi bar for me because his is hands down superior. I won’t go anywhere else in Phoenix. Staff is also extremely kind, attentive, and considerate. Made my day. Excellent atmosphere. 100% recommend."

"Great joint. Thought the Philly roll was amazing. We did the chef special which was very creative called the red mountain. It's a huge roll $17 I had no problem finishing it myself When I want sushi this will be my local go to"

"My daughter and decided to try this for lunch and we were happy we did. The sushi was quite good and prepared to order. The wasabi was a bit bland though. We also found it odd that the Asian patrons were seated in a different part of the restaurant than the anglo patrons. We also seemed to be ordering from a different menu as we saw the Asians eating dishes that were not offered to us. I'd like to go back and try the food from the non sushi menu."

"They have changed the vegan menu to vegetarian and their rolls which contain tempura are no longer vegan. Previous reviews stating that the tempura items are vegan are from old version of menu. They have less vegan rolls and options now. Disappointing. Updated from previous review on 2018-09-17"
