"Yes, hostess wasn't super friendly. Reminded of Peter Lugers in Brooklyn, but our food was great and the ambience was nice, and our waitress was fun. Next time I'm in Manchester we will come back. Filet Mignon was perfect!"

"This is one of those diamonds in the rough. I had passed by a number of times without thinking anything of it. But, looking for something new, I gave it a shot. Very happy I did. It has the feel of a local pub. A bunch of beers on tap. Friendly bar staff. Casual but nice enough for a date night. I had the salmon burger and it was exceptionally good. Cooked perfectly so it wasn't dry. Lots of flavor. I'd recommend it. Next time, I'm trying the spicy shrimp appetizer...next table over had it and it looked really good. I'll be back. Worth trying if you're in Torrington and interested in something off the beaten path."
