"With a commitment to local, seasonal and organic ingredients, you would expect the chefs to make the most of them. And they do. The salad with gooseberries and the risotto with rhubarb were beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. The service was attentive and friendly. The cost was surprisingly low given the quality of food and service. I'd recommend a visit."

"Wonderful staff and evening, the food was delicious. Although I hated the fact the fajita came with tons of mushrooms baked right in, : would have been great to have a fresh, zingy salsa or tomato avocado accompaniment to the oily blend of mushroom and pepper, as I had to pick out the mushroom it was just endless peppers in a wrap Besides that it really was a nice meal altogether but I wouldn’t order fajitas again. Bruschetta was delicious but really needed to be a little bigger Environment is wonderful and very pretty entrance"

"We had a meal at the black pig in her chewing house private dining room after our high-time ceremony. the eating was absolutely perfect and amazing worth for money, her booze was the best I ever tasted. everything came together and there were no problems with one of the foods. the personal was very courteous, both until the day and during the meal. we decided to say goodbye to the order, but that was 'not obligatory, although a big table of 19 plus 2 children. we had the full use of the private dining room without an open price to close and were able to relax and enjoy our evening without fuss or annoying. great thanks to the black pig for the host of a perfect and affordable post high-time meal that they do not torn out easy because it's high-time related. very impressed and will definitely eat again there, as I am sure, will be others eating with us."

"Beautiful eating at an excellent price and in a great environment. the only part was the service. big waiter, but it took age to eat appears as soon as the order was placed. almost 2 hours for two cursor meals for four people. fortunately, we were not in a hurry, but if they are on a deadline, then foreseeable. Maybe it was a personal problem, but given the fact that it was only maybe 15% capacity that I think service would have collapsed together if someone more people were unbooked."

"What an amazing high-time location! I wouldn't have hoped for a better day. the whole experience from the day of booking to the day of our high time was straightforward and so very uncomplicated. the ceremony, eating the personal, dj was all amazing, there is not a bit of it I would change.
