"I was looking for a restaurant/bar with Wi-Fi open on a Monday night in Urubamba, and found Tupay. The reviews seemed great and I was hoping for some lomo saltado, which I saw on the menu. The bartender/waitress, who I think may also have been the owner, was very nice and friendly, and showed me a small table next to a low couch in a room off to the side. The vibe was pretty cool even though it was really quiet (Because Monday night . There was fun music playing. There were a dog and small cat running around (the cat was meowing constantly which didn’t bother me, but they kept chasing them in to grab them and try to keep them from bothering me. I know this is not the fault of the owners, but at one point two rather large spiders descended on their thread right in front of my face and over my food, and when I looked up I realized there was a giant web above me. I understand this happens when you have a place that’s open to a courtyard, and laughed it off, but it made the meal a little less comfortable (especially when we lost track of one of the spiders . I hadn’t realized that only one of the cena dishes on the menu would be available, and not the one I was hoping for. I asked for a recommendation and went with one of the sandwiches, which was ok. The meat was a bit tough and not the best flavor, and I probably wouldn’t order it again, but it was a good amount of food, one of the sauces that came with it was great, and the fries were pretty good. I don’t think it was worth the price of 25 soles though. I do have to say the Wi-Fi was really fast and worked great, which was helpful as I was trying to get some work done. I may return for drinks and Wi-Fi, and to watch a game (they bring in a big tv for the futbol matches, but not sure if I’d go back for food, and I would avoid sitting in corners with giant spider webs above me :"
