"We had an amazing time here (and totally by chance we ended up here on a Friday night our original plan was dinner at Grouse mountain however they closed for a private event (whole other story! So first we found ourselves at a neighbouring restaurant who sat us on their patio (in 5C weather so we enjoyed a drink and found this spot to eat. We are SO happy we did!! The service was amazing, food was absolutely delicious and despite the door opening and closing constantly — the hostess was great at keeping things moving and the door closed. We would definitely recommend this spot, for sure!"

"Faculty is a fun, on-trend room with communal seating and a festive atmosphere. Go if you like tasting beer, people watching and light snacks. Very light snacks. It's more about the beer than the pretzel or charcuterie. In the summer months, once a week you can get your bike tuned up outside, while you sip your brew inside.It's a boisterous, cheerful, playful little place. Go and see for yourself!"

"Came here after a networking event (late night) service was excellent (bar service) and the chips and dip were good, but I just wish the charcuterie and cheese boards were still up for grabs for late night post meeting munchies."

"Great beers on tap- particularly liked the IPA and sour. The owners/brewers were super friendly and knowledgeable- got a tour of their brewing operation to see how everything is done. The tasting room was cozy yet spacious with beautiful decor...a down-home yet modern feel. They don't have food yet but apparently will with the next week or two- quality Italian fast food made in their kitchen- can't wait!"

"This new location is amazing from the patio view to the tasty eats! But what really stood out for us was the friendly staff. We had a baby and a 5 year old and all the staff from the hostess to our server were so...kind, attentive and fun! When we go out as a family we go for the experience as much as the food and drinks and the smiles everywhere from staff made the night easy and enjoyable. I only wish we got our servers name! We’ll be back soon! And try the Ahi Poke Bowl! "

"I love the selection of beer available at Strathcona as they have several rotating taps and lots of variety to choose from. When I visited my favourite was the fresh hop pale ale, which was a seasonal release. I also enjoyed the Strathcona Gold which is one of their signature beers as it is smooth but flavourful."
