"First, prices are so low, it's hard to believe. Secondly, the food is great and the menu is surprisingly extensive and includes a decent vegetarian section. Thirdly, the service was friendly, not rushed, but not slow, and the owner really seems to make his meals with love, and Genuincare for his business. I recommend it for everyone who prices alone are enough reason. Great place to order from me."

"Word of the day is Doubles! One of the many flavorful dishes available here. Bara does an amazing job of bringing authentic Caribbean food to Vancouver. I luckily have a few more items to try and I’m very excited for that. I’ve had the Mac and cheese, doubles, guava j chicken and chicken curry bowl and all were on point.The staff was very helpful with making suggestions for what I should try and knew the ingredients of all dishes to answer any questions I had. Even when there was a line it moved fast and you didn’t feel rushed when it was your turn to order. If you like Caribbean food I highly recommend it. Great to hit up before a movie too!"

"We were with 3 people, we sat very nice. The staff was good especially the lady with Rasta long hair she was very attentive and friendly. The food was good tasty. We will certainly eat there more often. Overall a nice , successful evening with friends."

"My husband and I and 2 adult children went to Havana 's for brunch on Mother 's Day. The restaurant was very lively and fun. The food was great. We had the Senora, the Clubhouse, and the Chorizo Hash. Very tasty. But the best part of our experience was our server Laura. She greeted me with an arms wide open Happy Mother 's Day ! She was super friendly and hilarious. She bantered back and forth with us all. It made our brunch all the better. It was an all around great experience. I wish every server we had in a restaurant could be as great as she was!"
