"It was a very hot day and we asked for a table outside. It was a very nice outdoor area but I honestly wasn't too excited about the menu.<br/ This was the first meal I ever had in Canada and it was so much better than I had ever expected!<br/ <br/ The scrambled eggs were amazing and the gazpacho was especially aromatic (I have tried a whole lot of gazpachos and very few have pleased me like this one). The rest of the family enjoyed the meal as well.<br/ The server was nice and she had a cute french accent. The indoor seats were also nice.<br/ Initially I thought it was too pricey but I later realized that food in Canada is expensive in general, so this place actually has very fair prices."

"We visit here every time we come to Vancouver. We saw that they had taken away the walls to make the Great food selection and the service was great, especially if you like charcoal grilled skewers. They did not have ASAHI super dry which surprised us. Parking is rare but there is a small paid parking lot at the back, and occasionally you might find street parking on Main St."

"One of the most unforgettable dining experiences I have ever had! My bf booked NYE dinner at sushi bar shu for two of us and everything was just perfect. I loved how each dishes were prepared right in front of our eyes, and handed fresh from chef’s hand to our hand. I also loved how overall atmosphere of the restaurant was so clean and minimalistic. I want to thank Chef Shin and the whole bar Shu team for making our NYE extra special!"

"We eat a lot of Indian food in the UK and had been warned that we might be disappointed. Sadly that was the case, the main meals were not very good. We had a dinner for two deal which had starters that were lovely and the rice and naan that accompanied the main meal were also nice. But two out of three main meals weren't that nice unfortunately. We also had a serving of mango ice cream for dessert and that was good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was nice and the food came quickly."

"Five out of five! The quality of her food was great, and her service was amazing. I was recently disappointed by various restaurants, so it was so refreshing to get a great service. I thought her part was small, but after completing our dessert, my stomach was perfectly filled (not too full to the point you want to throw up! The dessert we ordered was so unique and we loved it! We definitely come back to this place! and highly recommend others who want to eat good seafood."
