"I go to this place sometimes because I really like the vibes, the staff and the ambient. I didn´t order the brunch (yet) because I love their toast bread. It remains my hometown in Brazil. But I certainly, I´ll!!Food&Drink: I ordered the toasted bread and mochaccino, but they serve brunch till 3pm and everything seems delicious! The sourdough bread was perfect, and the mocha (for me) was good but strong – I had to add more sugar lol. Also, they aPrice: It's fair and affordable. My order was around 11 (without tips).Customer Service: The staff always is gentle. After ordering and paying, you have a sit and wait for them to bring your order to the table. The playlist is good as well, and I was surprised when I heard Brazilian music (Bossa Nova) playing. It totally reminds Brazil.Space: The place is modern but has something vintage style, and everything matches each other. They have a little patio outside. It has a beautiful rustic, with picnic tables, benches and hit.Cleaning: It was okay, as it should be.Location: It's at a busy Zona; I did walk there. Those familiar with the area know it is difficult to find a park, especially during the day. If you are lucky, maybe you can park around. "This is a great place to see how the buildings stood at the turn of the century. Renovated store front when corner stores were how families bought their goods. Its now a trendy little coffee shop with lovely outside seating and baked goods."

"Went just for the soft serve because they have ice cream, not yogurt. It’s getting harder to find soft serve ice cream. Bon Crepe soft serve tastes similar to Mr. Softee in NY."

"I have visited this charming market and eatery several times and had a great experience each time. Vegan menu items are clearly labelled as vegan. While I wish they had a couple more vegan options, I am extremely happy with the ones they have. Their homemade vegan broth is fabulous! All of the produce is very fresh as they support local farmers and offer CSA boxes. They also sell unique sundries and refrigerated items such as vegan pudding."

"They are serious when it comes to their claim of the best butter chicken. This sauce is divine- I've actually not had it with the chicken, but rather with fish instead and it was delicious. Other dishes fairly standard but also good quality (eg pakora, naan). Haven't eaten in, only take out but it's definitely a Kitsilano favourite of ours!"

"We visited the Federal Store in January, 2020. It is located a five minute walk from Main and Broadway. It is located in an old house that has been converted into a coffee shop. They serve coffee and sandwiches and soups. They also sell some specialty items which are interesting such as local honey and preserves. We had sandwiches and soup to takeout as there is very limited seating in this location. the sandwiches were good as well as the soup. I thought a bit pricey for what we ordered, this is why I am only giving it a four star rating. I recommend visiting this if you are in the area. It has quite a cool vibe."
