"I love chana masala. I tried the chana masala at Phulkari, Taj, and finally at Bismillah today. They are all within a mile or so of each other in the Madison Heights area.Not only was this chana masala the best of the three, this is easily the best chana masala I have ever tasted, and I have tasted dozens over the years. The chana is super tender, and the masala gravy is just heavenly. Nice spicy bite. One thing that you can see is that they are quite fond of oil, and you will see it puddling on top. Mix it in or scrape it off, or maybe do like I did and soak it up with some naan :)My only nit is that they only have naan, and not roti, which I prefer as it uses wheat and is ever so slightly more healthy.I will be back!"
