"My burger was uncooked and the delivery driver was cheeky to me and I do not appreciate that wish things could get better at this place because it used to bea lovely restaurant before I got an uncooked burger much appreciation my friend also got an uncooked burger nd he he was livid as he was ill for days on end he has just got better now"

"A visit to the galleries is rarely something I will ever do but we were in the area and needs must. We ordered the fake steak pie with peas, gravy and jacket potato and a vg kids meal for our young son. The pie was well seasoned and flavourful but the jacket potato was dry and I would have much preferred some chips instead but sadly the chips are not vegan. There are plenty of decent and affordable vg options on the menu though and the pubs convenience is a big plus for anyone planning a visit to the galleries."

"I was visiting relatives in the area so took the opportunity to order a takeaway vegan chicken curry with rice and chips for collection. The curry sauce was flavourful but I found the chicken texture very unusual and a bit jelly 'like '. I 've definitely had better. Rice was well cooked and chips were decent though."

"Booked ahead for I pm Sunday even ordered the lamb beef brisket for two. Definitely worth doing as both sell out very quickly. On arrival we were promptly served drinks ordered our Sunday Lunch order confirmed. We went to our table Sunday Roast arrived within minutes. Beautifully presented very stylish long plates with a side of extra gravy vegetables. The lamb beef were both tender delicious. There must have been half a kilo of meat on the plate. The Yorkshire Puddings were like Hot Air Balloons so tasty as were the roast potatoes. Vegetables were beautifully cooked. The meal was delicious the staff , smiling, very attentive very prompt. We were concentrating so much on this beautiful lunch . When we had finished our meal by 1.30pm looked around. The place was almost full. The Ox Plough is nicely decorated lots of open space . Since returning from a long time living abroad having visited a lot of places for Sunday Roast since returning. The Ox Plough is top of the tree hope it remains a well kept secret but I doubt it. Well done Team Ox Plough Thank You for a sensational Sunday Lunch."

"I had the opportunity to visit in the opposite and enjoyed my Buddha-shell, which was filled to the edge. the salad bar selection was fresh and tasteful with a lot of vegan choice, including potato salad, cheese, koleslaw, daal, kartoffeln mayo and of course regular salad options. the roasted cicherebral, potato salad, crispy cale and spiced wobble were my favorites. I also bought a pineapple-kick smoothie that was very refreshing with a beautiful jalapeño, ginger-kick. the personal was friendly and it is cheap. in any case worth a visit if they are in the opposite."

"I have booked the afternoon for me and my mother in the law for her birthday. at the arrival I was told that there was no booking for today. I showed the personal my confirmation email, only for the personal to realize that I had booked it in a filiale of dobbies in a village in cornwall and we live in gateshead! the personal was so good, and although they did not have the usual afternoon tea elements, in which are made special, they have made us a wonderful series of tasty, free and then booked back in the right location. colin they were an absolute gentleman and I am so grateful that my mother was treated in law was not ruined. fantastic customer service even if it was my fault"

"Mam and I went on 05.02.2018 we arrived at 11.00 a.m. on a snow-covered morning and the snake was out of the door. No matter what day it is always busy, what shows what a great place that is. we waited only approx. 10 minutes before our order and we were shown by very friendly staff on our site. I love this place eating is great and it always has a great atmosphere. the personal is no longer there. well made penshaw teeräume x"
