"My daughter ordered take out afternoon tea for us for a Mothers Day treat . She said the ordering process was very efficient. The sandwiches and baked goods were all delicious and fresh and came beautifully packaged with everything we needed including tea, napkins and doilies.I would definitely use again ."

"Food quality is decent, which is the where the 2 stars come from. Hours change frequently and are not accurate, nor are they even posted. Staff has changed recently and service is inconsistent at best. Prices have gone up quite a bit which takes it from a decent spot for a fast meal to no better than any other take out in the city. If quality and service were maintained through the price increase I could give it a pass, but I won’t bother coming in anymore."

"Excellent food. Nice decor. Mark the owner came and chatted with us and he was very nice! Overall a very welcoming and the chicken curray seen in the picture was delicious. Portion sizes and prices were excellent as well."

"There is always something very special, at least to me, of finding myself in a Levantine family owned restaurant. The warmth of the welcome is always palpable and the concern for your enjoyment is sincere. The lentil soup is excellent, the kibbeh are just what...you want them to be, the hummus is thick and tangy, the tabbouleh has no bulgar filler at all, just bright and green, the rice is fluffy and long and the shawarma tastes of the grill and careful seasoning. Well away from the bustle of the heart of U of Waterloo campus, this is a spot worth the extra few minutes to find you way toward."

"We often go out for shawarma at home and while vacationing in Waterloo this place didn't disappoint. It was friendly, fast and yummy. Great stop for lunch and for a family of four, still good value for money. Happy to have found it."

"My wife and daughter and I go out for lunch (almost) every Saturday and our tastes are all over the place. We often opt (at least once a month) for Sakura. Their food is always well prepared and visually appealing, service is good and the pricing reasonable. Not a large restaurant and when busy it can get noisy but worth the money for Japanese fair."

"We had a party of for lunch...order of everything off of the app menu...every dish was perfectly prepared and stunningly plated. The flavours were incredible! We also ordered mains, which we all agreed were unique and delicious! great beer and wine selection. Food...prepared and served as it should be...damn delicious!"
