"Went for breakfast yesterday and they had clearly labelled gluten free options. The staff also asked if there were any allergies to be aware of when ordering. It was a lovely cafe and the food was amazing! I had the pancakes and they were so good! The coffee was also quite nice. This has been a real struggle in UK and Europe as I’m on holiday from Australia and so far coffee has been terrible compared to back home."

"This place got top reviews so decided to stop for coffee and cake. Started sitting outside but the wasps were too attracted to our scones, jam and cream so we moved indoors. Good coffee, tempting cakes and a good atmosphere."

"Lovely staff and service. We had the set menu of two courses for £20. However, although the menu says potatoes we actually were given only one piece of potato each! Rather stingy! The food was good quality though, just need to increase the amount of potato per person. It was also chilly in there, but it’s always been the same. They need more radiators to keep their customer warm."

"We went in late afternoon on a Sunday, so it was not busy. However although we were the only customers being served, and there were three girls serving at the counter, it took them 10-15 minutes to make one cappuccino. We had to go up to the counter to enquire about progress after 10 mins. The reason for the delay? Two of the girls were making coffee to take away for themselves, since they were finishing their shift! They were too engrossed with chatting to each other to focus on customers. They obviously could not be bothered to clear and wipe down the tables either, even though they were not busy: one of the chairs had milk spilt on it. And most empty tables needed clearing. Never again: there are many other more pleasant alternative coffee places in Wells. I notice that they do not respond to reviews on tripadvisor, so obviously they could not care less."

"We visited as a group of 4. We all had different starters and different main courses. All of them were excellent. Some if us followed up with puddings, the bread and butter pud was fantastic. Good value with excellent service, a place that is not to be missed! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: White Chocolate and Raspberry Roulade, Slow Roasted Pork, Chocolate Fudge Cake"

"The worst experience experience I have ever had at a Costa! Asked for large caramel latte with 2 extra pumps of caramel.. (5 normal +2 as requested) As she was making the latte I noticed she had only put 4 in when I specifically requested 7 in total.. I asked could she put the rest in. I wad very rudely replied with I have already put the amount in you asked for if you want more it 'll cost extra) I replied I watched you and you only put 4 in. She got very irrate and refused to speak to me anymore and walked off aftetn"
