"So, 2 weeks before I made a reservation for my 35th birthday dinner with my sister. the only time slot was available at 15:30. such an unpleasant time, most can agree, but still some people mentioned how wonderful pond house cafe is that I just had to try. When I arrived, I checked for my reservation and was quick to sit. my waitress goes up and tells me that the kitchen is closed because they close at 3:30 o'clock. This is my first time here, I'm confused! I tell her that the only time slot was at 15:30 a.m. and that I had a reservation and she actually sighed and said well I 'll keep the kitchen for a few minutes so that they can look over the menu. I should have trusted that my instinct and gone at this point, but we had plans before that followed and I just didn't want this woman to ruin my day! y 'all 5 november 2022 was not only my 35th birthday, but the day I found out that I was cancer-free! I wanted to celebrate a beautiful place with delicious food. at least, for weeks my sister talks about her short nativity and how delicious it is. she described it as a case of the bone, melt in the mouthpiece. so we look over the menu they have only short ribs pasta so we order it. fail! I'm not a picky person or hard if I'm reviewing (as my other reviews will show), but I feel serious as if I've enjoyed, in the Wood-N-Tap or something like that. at least eating is always good and server are always friendly. pond house cafe was such a disappointment. Maybe it was a bad day, I don't know. what I know is that I never want to go there again and I will certainly not recommend it! the waitress was rude! ego! the pasta was 5 out of 10 ribbons of fresh noodles, with mushroom pieces and I assume that 1 short rib was shredded to make 2-3 plates of teig (very saum on the bark meat.) it was simply not good, the presentation was sloppy, and the plate was something like $27."

"Awesome experience! Traveled 45 mins for this place and it was well worth it. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Food was perfect, highly reccomend the nummy bowl and the soup dumplings. Will be back again for sure!"

"The menu changes daily and there are 3 Entree options: chicken, vegan and then either beef or seafood. The menu is published on the website and on their Instagram. Not listed on the website, you can order a sampler plate that gives you a little of everything in the daily menu. I have the sampler plate that had berber chicken, Cajun red beans and jerk shrimp. Everything was delicious. The staff is also beautiful."

"My favorite vegan items are the spicy garlic aubergine with rice and the vegan boneless ribbed. they also have vegan general tso chicken tofu as well as vegan orange chicken that I have not yet tried, but I plan to try in the future. I had only delicious eating here so I didn't have anything short of amazing. I love to support this little business and I hope they do the same."

"The service and food were outstanding! My chicken chaufa, was incredibly tasty! My husband’s steak was a melt in the mouth. The chicken empanadas were delicious! It was our first visit and we will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!"
