"What an amazing cute coffee place. I look forward to having food here in the near future. The owners r amazong people and so friendly. Well worth a visit. And for sure the best tasting coffee I have had in Glasgow. And they have take away cups that r not harmful to the environment!"

"Amazing and varied homemade soups, scones and cakes, all on offer on a daily basis. Today I had Moroccan chicken soup with a treacle scone....strange mixture, I know, however, treacle scones are such a rarity these days and it was delicious. The cafe is now table service and staff are so friendly and engage with you when , first, they bring a bottle of water and glasses to your table. Love the sharing of tables, especially encouraged when it's busy.....which is most days over lunch period. When paying, consider a donation to allow a homeless person some nourishing food. Once visited, defy you not to revisit, it's so worth it."

"Ate at the cafe whilst doing some climbing and cannot fault it. As it's situated in an indoor climbing centre inside an old church space is limited therefore don't expect the largest menu selection, but the food on offer is excellent. I had the haggis nachos and it was filling. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful, you also have great views across the climbing walls if you're interested in climbing."

"The chef is Italian who prepares the food in a open kitchen. The food is very creative and delicious. Only one point I like less: the lemon is very present in the seafood or fish dishes, which makes a little too acid."

"I'm here, really good food! both had to start bruscheta. Nice. only negatiw for me were the discs of the raw garlic in it. we both had it. we had huh and stornoway blackpudding on kartoffelmash and berry jus that was fantastic and penne arabbiata was great. we ordered garlic bread that was massive! Maybe next time order half a part. great food, service and wine. hidden gem and will be back!"

"For the first time today and we were not disappointed. the mac n cheese was amazing as the garlic bread. very friendly staff and very clean. had only complained a glass of water in a warm glass on a hot sunny day. that said we were back in any case."

"I 've visited the Nippon Kitchen LOTS of times over the past 5 years the food is tasty, plenty on the vegan menu and service is generally friendly. I definitely do recommend it. But it feels like in the past few months, standards have slipped just a wee bit waiting staff not quite so friendly and knowledgeable, uniforms looking a bit grubby, and new metal chairs that feel a bit fake. I 'm sure most of this could be remedied. NK used to feel like a special place to go, now it just feels 'quite good '."
