"Firstly, fast food this aint ! we waited at the counter for over twenty minutes for a basic order......which was eventually served cold and, as usual, incorrect. We really only go here for the fillets, but even they no longer seem to have the famous...KFC taste of years ago. This brand needs a complete overhaul if it is to survive, the staff need to be shown how to read properly so they can supply the items we have ordered and paid for. If they can't cope with the vast choices given, then reduce the choices. There is nothing more annoying than being asked which dip you want only to then receive a different one. The dining areas are looking very dismal and are generally untidy, they are not a nice place to be let alone eat in. However, if you get a drive through you know that something will not be in the bag, last night for example, it would have been the popcorn chicken, which our server forgot to put on our tray until I reminded her. This was despite her checking the screen several times whilst getting our order ready ? Poor service, miserable dining area and the food is just ok these days"

"Nicely laid out restaurant with very welcoming staff but dire horrible dishes that are non authentic.Upon arrival of the menu , I spotted that the Dansak had cream in it, so I asked the waiter if it could be prepared without cream Its a Persian dish by origin and contains no cream , he said it could. I ordered it , absolutely terrible , the worse I have ever tasted and I have eaten curries since 1974! More garlic than a bolognaise , the garlic over powered the whole dish and of course it came with the Wigan trademark , the obnoxious canned pineapple ring. Nobody in this region uses fresh pineapple or bothers to dice the rings.Whilst my son liked the tikka masala , zombies wouldn't drive me back here. Absolute rubbish!"

"Mediocre for the price chilli, fish platter,King prawn ,garlic mushrooms everything was OK but nothing to shout about the fish platter and the king prawns where very nice but frozen chips and fresh onion rings which had way too much batter on them making them sogy(knock off bill)and the price of drinks where dearer than the food large glass of wine over £7.50 wouldn't be somewhere I would go again as lots of places nicer and better value in my opinion"

"Yuk! Ordered lasagne. Waited 20 minutes to be served. Portions were tiny, served and baked in a small dish. Burnt and rock hard a centimetre around the edge of the dish. Flavourless. At £7.50, was a big disappointment. Cappuccino was ok though."

"Visited the black pfeffer with family and eating was super tasty and well presented. the reispudding dessert was mostly delicious! the service was great and they let us be very welcome. look forward to a quick return"

"Love this place. I normally come for breakfast but lately I've been getting lunches as well. Can't believe I've never really done it before as they're fabulous. I particularly love their chilli. It's done how chilli should be, with a bit of a kick. They've also been doing my lunch every Friday after I've had my breakfast there. Sandwiches are fabulous too. Great food, great service. Cannot go wrong."
