"Came for a bottomless brunch with friends on Saturday. Had the best time. We were welcomed by Justine, who was lovely and friendly. The drinks were flowing from the minute we sat down brilliantly looked after by Chelsea who explained everything to us. Our food was so good and came out really quickly so thank you Daryll. Our glasses were never empty as Chelsea kept checking on us all. We planned to go to another pub after our two hours but the atmosphere in The Slug was perfect and so we stayed all evening. We left happy and extremely merry. Will be booking again, especially with the new menu on the way!!"

"A really nice pub that has a beautiful beer garden and facilities ! Always got good music on and is a brilliant place to go with a group of mates if you’re looking for a not too crowded place to sit, chat and have a couple cheeky ones !"

"As always, eating was great. not happy with the service this time. left standing at the entrance for 10 minutes. no spoon given, had to go and ask. my daughter ice cream came 10 minutes before my waffle, a bit strange. overall it was okay. but this time it's only 4 stars."

"I had booked a meal for my elderly Uncle cousin myself, we arrived in plenty of time, finally got a table even though we had booked a table, we were seated and given menus, before we could take half a breath we were asked for our drinks order, so we ordered wines, finally ordered our meals and were told 10 minutes later that 2 meals were not available and should not have been on the menu!! So sadly ended up with Fish Chips! Not my idea of fine cuisine, sadly there nothing else on the menu Uncle I fancied. I personally think it was rather expensive for fish chips, the third meal was told to me to be okay, we were hoping for cackling to be on the menu but No! Needless to say, we were rather disappointed all round. Will probably stick witht the HIghdown from now on."
