"It had been a few years, back when the place was quite small. I delighted to discover the expanded, spacious new venue! Lots of tables, indoor and out, with beautiful decor, including raw Madagascan wood paneling and hand carved chairs (truly works of art! , creative and tasteful lighting, and very cool Ethiopian music at the perfect volume played over a nice sound system. With time for a quick lunch, I ordered the platter with two entres. I chose Gomen and Shiro Wot and a Sambusa appetizer. I found the hot sauce a bit tart, but plenty spicy, and the Sambusa finely prepared and delicately tasty. The large, ornate and antique-looking platter artfully included the perfect amount of injera (of course! , along with a lovely salad of greens, tomato and onion, all beautifully presented. As this cuisine is best enjoyed with the fingers, I appreciated the inclusion of hand sanitizer on every table. I look forward to discovering the Coffee Ceremony, when I have someone to join me. "Food was ok , I had better and tasted like it was old. Person who took my order has no professionalism and needs to learn how to take orders. Food wasn't even hot and the tilapia tasted like it wasn't clean well before they made the soup. Got there food was not even ready and since I had to wait longer the food wasn't even hot since I had to wait. Fufu was to sticky like they was in a rush. Everything seem like it was put back in the microwave, because the bottom and middle"

"I love the food and very authentic. Saute onions are phenomenal. I'm trying to make her home. Try to taste the lamb like Steak so much plus the plantations remain to me from home Miami. I'll be back soon. Con is the chicken too dry, but tasteful."

"My friend had salmon and I had sweet potato soup with rice. It was really not soup, but super tasty and different. The staff was friendly, committed and happy to share. Felt like family! Definitely worth a stop. We were a little leary from the outside and we were the only customers on the first 5:55 on Thursday. I'm glad we tried!"

"I rarely leave reviews. But I must say, the Egusi w/ fish was SO flavorful that I had to show my appreciation. Compliments to the chef, as well as to the customer service. Those who wrote negative reviews don’t understand how labor-intensive and time consuming it is to prepare some of these dishes. Be patient, and you wont be disappointed. Blessings."
