"We were visiting Louisville downtown and looked for authentic Mediterranean cuisine, we tried one and then the next day we tried Syrian Grill and Syrian Grill was best of all The atmosphere was cool and it looked like authentic Arabic houses in historical places. The place was very clean and had a comfortable dining room. The staff were very nice and welcoming. The food was tasty and smelled good We placed our order and it took less than 30 minutes to get served, the chicken shawarma wraps were the best part, the grilled chicken thigh was so tender and juicy. The fattoush salad was perfect and not too sour. The prices are fair and the service was great. The fries were not greasy and fresh. They also have desserts like chocolate cake, baklava, and gelato ice cream but we didn't have room for sweets this time. Enjoyed the experience here and will save the place for my next visits to Louisville. Their menu is all Halal and they have vegetarian options too. Highly recommended"

"Delicious, fresh subs. I hardly ever eat a sub but I splurge for these and treat myself. They are custom prepared and stuffed with high quality meat. I was super impressed. Highly recommend."

"Food is good. We ordered kabsa and chicken kebab plate. Chicken kebabs we really tasty. Lamb in kabsa was good too. But I would not say it tasted like kabsa. Or the aroma or smell you get from the rice or meat. I don't know why it was empty. It's a nice place to have food there."

"Ordered the chicken and rice at $19 for takeout for myself and a friend and it was such awful quality and poor/no taste!!!!! My friends chicken he said was basically like frozen and he had to wait until getting home to microwave it. I'm sure he will be throwing it in the trash. The awful quality of this food is something I wouldn't even feed to my dog. Total rip off and waste of $38+. Do NOT order food from this place."

"I have been to many Middle Eastern/ Mediterranean restaurants, and this one stands out. The food, service, and decor are absolutely amazing. I tried multiple dishes such as the hummus, kibbeh, baba ganoush, and tabbouli salad. All dishes were extremely delicious all while being pleasantly flavorful and they arrived very quickly. They also have a good kids menu and a variety of vegetarian options. Would highly recommend eating at this restaurant."

"I've enjoyed this place for more then 15 years but haven't been in while. When they came to my mind I was excited about going to the counter and ordering all my favorites but to my disappointment they weren't open to the public due to lack of help. As a family business, I wondered if this is true or just the standard excuse that many use to push off your disappointment. Yet I was willing to conform to their system of ordering outside and waited for my over $35 order. They did come quickly with my order as I was the only one waiting outside. Even with this little bleep in the experience, I was still excited to get home and enjoy my favorites but to my major disappointment most of the items were not so good; the Kefta was dry and the Cucumber Yogurt tasted like the plastic container. The Spinach Devine was still able to hold its own. Usually I enjoy more then one meal with my ala carte ordering style but I had to throw it all in the trash. I'm only willing to go back if the deli/bakeries counter is open again to the public and I can see my options. I'm not really to give up yet on one of my A2 favorites so please Exotic take this feedback to heart!"
