We liked this place very much, it is not a fancy place, but they serve good local food. We had toutons (bread dough fried in pork fat. Fish and brewis ( salt cod and fresh cod mixed with hard bread and scrunchions ) (fried cubes of fatback pork) and Crispy cod tongues. Very tasty food and the staff was very pleasant. read more.

What User doesn't like about Big R:
don't ever eat here no matter how hungry you are! The oil they used was so old that the the grease on the plate was dark brown. Out of 4 people none of us finished our meal. read more.
