"Hi My friend and i shared two dishes pizza and Kale salad. The pizza was wonderful but we thought the Kale salad was too bland.. Normally I love Kale but this one did not meet our expectations. More salt? addition of dried fruit? I must commend your wait staff absolutely outstanding."

"We stopped at Veneto for a light dinner and drinks. It was so good. We tried 3 different small plates that were all excellent. Cocktails are doubles and tasty. Wanted to come back but didn't have time."

"Having high tea at the Empress is an occasion rather than a meal. The decor, atmosphere and service are excellent. This is an experience to remember. The attention to detail is remarkable. The serving staff are perfect. For the food, we were given each: one scone with jam and/or clotted cream, 4 finger sandwiches plus a mini quiche, and an assortment of exquisite little desserts, from macaron to a confection of chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, nougat and chocolate shell. The tea is excellent as well. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but I drank several cups of tea with no sweetener. It was delicious. If you visit Victoria, you have to have tea at the Empress. The view is terrific as well."

"This is one of our favourite brunch spots. All the ingredients are sourced locally and the portions are just right, not insanely huge as in other brunch places. I love that they take reservations before !0:00 AM, because after that the line-ups can be very...long"
