I planned a performance at the Westport Country Playhouse, and I wanted a restaurant near the theatre. I was in Le Penguin in Greenwich, and the Westport site was ideal. This room is slightly larger than the Greenwich restaurant and includes outdoor tables, but it has the same attentive service and wonderful food with a good wine list. We usually love this restaurant and went for an early Father’s Day dinner but the food was not up to par and the outdoor seating was uncomfortable. The service is always great and we will go back but I think it was an off night for them. read more.
